Training for Older Adults

Here, at Fit ‘n’ Fab. For Life I offer specialised programs for older adults, either one-on-one or small groups (maximum of 4 participants). Many people underestimate the benefits of doing resistance training (with weights) at all age levels. Resistance training strengthens bone density and of course builds muscle, thus helping to prevent brittle bones – a common ailment amongst older adults.
No matter what your fitness levels, if you’ve exercised in early adult life, or even had some form of injury, resistance training and cardio activities will enable you to enjoy the twilight years of life; with more functionality. If you don’t use it, you lose it, and I aim to help you “use it” for many years to come.
